Listening to some of my Beatles in Mono CD set last night, which sounds amazing- particularly the drum and bass end - just enough subwoofer action (and the Mono does sound good through a 5.1 system)

Who can think about Wings Over America without hearing those great upfront bass lines in your head. Venus and Mars/Rock Show, Let Me Roll It, Time To Hide. What a great bass album. Rock Show has to be one of the greatest songs to kick off a concert ever.

"middle" has always been my personal rick-o-sound ;) of choice...

but how hard can it be to figure out - just try all three and use the one that sounds right :)

  10. Don't know if this is a Ricketty - backetty, but I dig the tune...

At least in the video, though he was using the BB1200 for live events around this time...

And I like the color blue.
That suggestion would make a lot of sense if I had the exact signal chain that he was using, which can’t be replicated in any event. Thanks anyway.

Doesn't the bass on that song sound like a fretless?
