ME50B power problem

I have an ME-50B that I like to fool around on, and it seemingly stopped working the other night. Found out the problem is on the actualy ME-50B itself, and not in the power bar I was using. Still works fine with batteries, but no power source other than that is working. I also wasn't sure what to search for here, so apologies in that respect.

This leads me to believe that something is wrong with where the power source connects ON the ME-50B, though what I'm not sure. Also have no idea how to fix it. I took it apart last week on the advice of Chronicle (know the dude from another forum first), but couldn't find any way of actually seeing what was wrong with it.

For those who need a bit more info, I was using a PSA(i think)120 Boss power source (as you're supposed to with Boss products). I took it out to use it with my Digitech Envelope Filter (for guitar), as I have numerous times, and when I plugged it bakc into the ME-50B two hours later, it wouldn't work.

Summary: the place where I plug power source into on ME-50B is potentially very broken. How do I fix it, OR how much would that cost

I'd check your boss power adapter. I had the same issue with my old ME-50B, and it took a while to figure it out. The cord right by the power brick had split in the middle of the flex portion of the cord right by the brick (hope that makes sense) and there was exposed wire that had split - if I bent it so the ends of the exposed wire (it was only 1 side of the cord, not both, so no electrocution possible), the power would work. If that's the case, you can re solder the wire to the plug board itself if you know how to do that.

uhhh touch the port you plug the adapter into, if it moves it is broken, it should stay in place, there are other ways it can be broken as well though

I would try replacing that jack. You would need a soldering iron, solder, and some pliers, as well as a new jack.

Does the power block work with the other pedal? If so, then the problems with the jack most likely, as Sir Edward V said.
