Double Bass Measurements of the Czech-Ease

Hey, I'm just curious about what the actual measurement or dimensions of the Czech-Ease bass are, since on David Gage's website he doesn't list any of the specs or dimensions of the Czech-Ease Bass or the flightcase. So I was wondering if any owners of the Czech-Ease could post what the dimensions of the bass and the flight case are, since I really am considering buying a travel bass.

The Czech-Ease by far, appeals to me the most. I've tried the NS Steinberger and the Yamaha silent bass. There is a possibility it could be the amp, but neither one of those EUB's could really satisfy my needs due to the tone they produced as well as the structure of the instrument (since both are sticks lacking bodies and physical reference points).

I've realized that any EUB will never sound like the good old upright double bass (which is the sound I've come to love), yet its such a hassle packing it, moving around, and driving with it. So I'm really curious on what it's actual dimensions are and how it sounds and I realize this would be the best place to ask such a question to see if the Czech-Ease has the right sound and size to accomodate my needs, thank you.

Where are you in Asia, anywhere near Hangzhou, China. I've got mine with me here. If you are in or near this area (Hangzhou is near Shanghai) come to my gig and have a look. I'm playing at JZ's Club, in Hangzhou until Nov. 8. I'd venture to guess that mine is the only one in or near China at this time. I don't have yard stick or measuring tape handy but think of it this way. If your measure your 3/4 upright, from about where the top 2 tuners are, then head south past the nut, past the bridge and keep going until you reach the end of the strings afterlenght, where your tail piece begins, it's about "that" long. Go to the bridge, measure your bass, east to west, starting from the edge of the bass that lines up where the bridge is. The czech-ease is "that" wide at it's widest point.The case that it flys in is not much bigger, fits in regular car no problem.
