Im very into your bassing these days but have yet to here one note of this band.

How would you describe it? What would you recommend? Is the music still in print? What kind of equipments were you rockin in those days?

Medicine is LA's answer to My Bloody Valentine, with more harmonious vocals, but super-abrasive guitar layering. We were signed to Creation Records in the UK, in fact. In the US we were on American.

Music is out of print, but you can try to fine The Buried Life and Her Highness. Even Shot Forth Self Living, the debut (on which I wasn't involved) is extraordinary. In fact, that's my favorite.

I was rocking a Jazz bass, a Stingray, a Boogie 400+ and an SVT cab. And a bunch of raucous pedals.

Im more interested now too cuz ive really been getting into MBV and other shoegaze as of late.

Medicine albums, particularly the first two, are a study in how long you can listen without turning it off. But the tunes in there are so undeniably poppy, it's like eating candy that's covered with a layer of sandpaper that you have to lick off first.

noise isnt a problem or me. i listened to merzbow for a week straight once.......it was to prove a point i think. anywho i youtubed some stuff and it was neat.

i love noisey guitars.
