meridian trinity preamp

Meridian make a version of their trinity pre-amp which goes into their basses. The bass installation usually has just B/M/T without the variable mid freq sweep. I'd be interested if Franco makes am internal pre-amp with a sweepable mid freq. That would be very nice bass installation, I've not been frustrated with the Bartolini Mid control circuits. Their Q is too wide and it effects the bass and treble controls too much to make it particularly useful. John East's circuit is a lot better, but that circuit has some weird switching in passive mode and it's bass control is boost only and the frequency deepens as the boost increases. Also the treble control cuts at one frequency but boosts at another. So i'm still on the look out for a bass pre-amp / active tone controls which is more akin to my preferences.
