Mesa 2x12 - hmmm

So I sold my Ampeg 410hlf as a result of falling for this powerhouse 212. However, I still needed something as a "practice" amp. After spending 60 minutes at Rudy's in New York City, I bought a new powerhouse 112. I loved the articulate bottom end and I feel like it will even be decent for small bar gigs (any thoughts on that?). The 112 will stay at rehearsal and will be taken out on occasion for small places. I also think that if I run direct from my head, the 112 will make a nice stage monitor for me.

I've been looking for a PH112 locally forever, but nobody has them. I'm running a PH610 right now as my 'at home' cab and it's total overkill. Would love to sell it and grab a pair of PH112's.

Glad you're really liking the Mesa gear, but I really thought you would. You plan on picking up another 212 or do you think the one will be enough?

I will stick with the 112 and the 212. 212 for most gigs and 112 for rehearsal and small bars in tight spaces. I'll know more after rehearsal on Tuesday night.

Is the 112 a 4 or 8 ohm cab? Just out of curiosity.
