Mesa Boogie Bass Cabs in stock?

:help:I'm desperatly looking for the Mesa Scout extension cab, 15". Looks like ordering one from a Mesa dealer where I live takes 90 days, but I don't want to wait that long:crying:. They are rare on ebay and in the classified forums, too.
So, anybody knows one standing at a store? Can be new, used - I would even consider the 12" version. But it has to be the black standard version, nothing custom color.

The store I ordered my Boogie 212 from said it was supposed to be in the end of the week...last week...still haven't called. I CAN'T FREAKING WAIT ANY LONGER $@%@^& I feel like some dude put it on the floor and they sold it or something!!!:help:

On a side, note, I'm glad I can learn Primus songs in less than 20 minutes now haha

I would also add that the Scout ext cabs, particularly the 15, are fairly rare items in general.

So, you've got Mesa's general practice of making small batches of gear in the first place, then, you have to contend with the fact that they just don't make many Scout 15s (as opposed to say ... Powerhouse 2x10s or 2x12's) when they are building/filling orders.

If you are open to the Scout 12, or even the Walkabout 12 cab w/o the amp, you will probably have much better luck getting one sooner. I have seen a number of these right here in the TB classifieds at very good prices.

When I was looking at a Venture 2x12 last year, I spoke with Mesa about their build cycle. I was told that there was a general 90 day cycle for most things, but that lower demand items could go as long as 120 days. For bass gear specifically, Mesa is not quite a custom build shop (although they will do custom covers/finishes) and not quite a small boutique builder like .. say Bergantino. It's just a supply and demand thing, and a focus on well built, great sounding gear.

I saw one in Maggios Music in Brooklyn NY a few months ago...it was the cab and the walkablout head..I dont know if they would break them up but I just wanted to pass this info along to you.. good luck..as mentioned ..the scout cabs are rarebirds in the used category

Yeah, I just had to have that stupid silver grill instead of the stock black! (for matching my 210). Plus, if I'm buying the damn thing new, might as well be NEWWWWWWWWW. Oh, and btw, there's a freaking Diesel 210 on CL right now in great shape for $250. God damn how I'm tempted. I have no use for it because my amp can't goto 2 ohms, but $250?!

I've been eyeballing that too! I just bought a Diesel 115 a few weeks ago for $250 to hold me until the 212 shows up... But I'm going to hold off so I pay for the rest of the 212. Eventually another Diesel 115 to pop up and I may get that so I can do the classic 2x15 stack. :p

BTW, the Diesel 115 sure is a sweet sounding cab... I bet the 210 is a good one too.

MAN! Boogie told Gelb it ain't shipping till Monday after they said it'd be there the end of the week last week! Way to get my hopes up then shatter them :crying:. Just like a kid before Christmas!
Yeah, I wouldn't even be able to use the 210 with my current amp (4 ohm min.) and I really want a new pickup...so GAS, GAS, GAS...but still, interested in taking Diesel cab in, and learning the ways of them. (This is also why I paid for the 2x12 all up front. So I wouldn't "misplace" the funds.)

I'm interested to hear how a 15' would sound with the 2x10, 2x12 for a sheer absurd amount of range. How does the Diesel speaker "feel" compared to the PH speakers? I hear a lot of people prefer the Diesel one's for responsiveness. I have a whammy and played through a 15 without a tweeter before and it would have none of it lol (although, this wasn't a Boogie speaker...)
