mesa boogie cab

I was searching a local music forum, and a guy is selling a 2x15 mesa boogie cab, i dont know which kind but he said he bought it for $1500 new, and he's selling its for $500.. Is this a good deal for a 2x15 in good shape? is that a good price for any mesa boogie cab? are they even good? thanks!

Sounds like a good price for a recent Mesa 2X15. Just make sure you have the wherewithal to move it around--it's gonna be pretty heavy.

Good gear -espesh if its the older Deisel cabs line I think they used EV spkrs in 'em. To cut a long story..... I bought, direct from Mesa, a 400w EV/MESA bass spkr(no cab)-about 12 yrs ago & it still works FANTASTICALLY!!!!! I loaded it into an EV TL115 spkr cab- & she's a beauty! So I imagine a 2x15" would be doubly as good!
