Hey I have a question about my Bass 400+ head...

I get a loud crackle/pop when I put it in stand-by with my active MTD Artist bass. Never get this problem with the passives I have. Does anyone know what could be causing this?

I bought it second-hand through a music store in Portland, Oregon, and they said it has fairly new tubes in it just power tubes, the pre's are still the Mesa branded ones).

Thanks!

I just realized I don't have a number yet. I seem to be replacing all of my gear with Mesa slowly but surely. I can't get enough of the tone and still can't believe I didn't discover Mesa gear years ago.

I've searched but can't find this, even on the Mesa website. I know the M6 is about 45 lbs; is the the 750 any lighter? Also curious as to whether the 750 sounds closer to the Walkabout than the Carbines do.

No way the M6 weighs anything like 45lbs.
The ups shipped weight on mine in the factory box was 31lbs.

I'd wager it's more like 28lbs.

Thread closed, report to part deux y'all.
