i'm in the market for either a mesa PH610 or PH810.
Apart from, the obvious differences (size, weight, watts etc) is there any main tone difference between them.
I have an ampeg 610 and know there is a difference in tone between that and an Ampeg 810.
are the mesa powerhouses the different or as they try and state on the website. they are the same tone except the 810 is bigger and more power.
Btw: running a Mesa M9 carbine through it.
Am in Australia and not many stockist carry anything bigger than a 410 or 210 in the Mesa gear. so can't try it out.
