I am a newbie here so try not to laugh if this is a ridiculous question. Mesa Scout or Aguilar DB359 driving your choice of 1X15 to keep it fair.This is for practice and recording and I do not need crazy loud volume. Thank you!
There's really no "keeping it fair" at all by allowing any 15 with the DB359, lol. The choice of any 15 cab is exactly what makes this a no brainer. Both the Scout & DB359 are tremendous. Some will prefer one, some the other. To-MAY-to, To-MAH-to. But as really nice as the 15 combo speaker cab is (& it is) a 15 cab employing an Eminence 3015, Eminence 3015LF, or Faital Pro 15PR400 with a Selenium D220Ti HF driver just isn't a fair fight. No comparison. Whatsoever.
This DB359/Eminence or Faital + D220Ti setup will be a pretty penny more, granted, but that wasn't part of the equation.
