Correct, the XLR preamp out is true line level and should drive the Quilter perfectly.
I'm really tempted to get this, but I was soooo looking to get a DI with a headphone out. That's the only reason I want to give up my tone hammer
It's just too large for my board. I can just bring my D800 amp with me.
I want to share in the excitement here, but what does one use something like this for? What is the benefit of running a preamp into another amp?
I use it (the original di/pre) into a pa style poweramp. Others may bypass their bass amp pre by going into the effects return.
What @BasturdBlaster said. Also its perfect for amp-less applications, IEMs, etc, especially for those who use D-800+ when using an amp.
