Mesa TT 800+ with Subway 115+112

Hi all,

I’m wanting to pair my Mesa head with these two, but I’ve never run through to cabs before and am apprehensive due to wattage/ohms.
Any advice would be helpful, along with any other suggestions.

The Subway 112 and 115 are both 8 ohm cabinets rated at 400 watts and will pair perfectly with the TT-800.

Being as you have never before, make sure you have Speakon speaker cables for hooking them up. Please be sure the connectors are made by Neutrik.

I have the WD800 and same cabs. You’ll be super happy I think and you’ve got room to add a third cab with that head if you ever feel you need it (you won’t..)

I run this exact rig for bigger shows and it is fantastic. All of the SW components were designed to mix and match and your only problem will be sore cheek muscles from smiling so much while playing. Enjoy!

I run my 800+ with a SW15 and SW12 all the time thanks to a review by Al Kraft. If I only need a single cabinet I generally use the 15, but have used the 12. I’ve had this setup for about 4-5 years now and I always get compliments on my sound. Let us know how you like it

The 112 has slightly less mechanical power handling.

Minimum Mechanical Power (RMS) @Frequency
115 = 400 Watts (@ 67.0Hz)
112 = 385 Watts (@ 74.3Hz)

As longs as you don't go super aggro cranking the lows, both cabs should be safe.
