Mesa V1 Bottle Rocket...Wow!!!

Mine breaks up with ease, can go into pure face ripping distortion when I want it to.
I really only have mine set to a nice wooley overdrive. My gain is set low around 8:30 to 9:00, and the master is full open.
If you want to send any guitarist home crying to mamma, turn the master down and the gain anywhere past 12. :bassist:

thanks for the tip. mines been sitting in a bin for years. wasn't all that happy with it on guitar. just got done noodling with it & it sounds great on bass. the eq still seems weird, like it doesn't respond as i'd expect, but it delivers some good punchy grit & drive when properly tweaked.
