Metal bands that use a Jazz bass?

Now to mention a real metal band...(sorry I tend to be very insulting towards metal genres xD)

Anyyywaays... Not sure if they used a jazz bass, however if your looking to incorporate jazz into metal, Roger Patterson and Tony Choy of Athiest both were very jazzy bassists.
So I don't think a jazz bass could hurt, unless that's not what your after.

The bassist for Kamelot uses either a Jazz 5 or an active Carvin J5. Also, aren't John Myung's Carvins jazzes?

I've never seen John Myung use a Carvin.

On-topic, I always thought the Jazz one of the better basses for metal. Geddy Lee of Rush gets what would be a fantastic metal tone with them. Before I switched to 6ers, a Jazz was high up on my wants.
