This actually sounds kickass, and for the record I like Load, a lot.
Seen 'em live in 06, man they had some huge sound problems, sounded terrible, left early, but everyone has a bad night.

I don't think any of those vids are Metallica. The singing doesn't sound like James at all. The guitar does though.
You know that those are fake, right? Just some other band that kinda (not really) sounds a little like Metallica. Fakes like that are all over youtube...
EVEN if they were real (they aren't) I wouldn't want to listen to them. It ruins the whole aura and excitement of a new album. That's the best part! Hunting it down in the store, ripping it open, cranking up the stereo and trying to listen to every single new note and word. Ah, I can't wait!!!

Is Septemeber just a throw off month from Lars or do you think it will actually be out before then ? If the album was just finished I cant imagine it will take 4 months to get it ready for release.
Hey, anyone else watch the Get Preview vid? Listen to the part where hes talking about the chunk in the guitar, then they like play a riff, thats like an effing kick*** riff, so metal!
I'll reserve judgment until I hear some complete songs. Still a step above St Anger based on those fragments.
Finished recording is a lot different than final mixdown and mastering. I'd guess September is being optimistic!
