I just moved to Rio. In Florida, I lived in a stand alone house with triple pane storm windows so rocking loud was not an issue. I have a Fender Rumble 200 with an extra 15/horn cabinet and a Peavey Max 300 with a (2) 10 cabinet.

But living in an apartment requires a smaller solution. This little amp absolutely kicks butt. Super simple, but the bass and volume that it puts out is exceptional. With the tilt up monitor design, you hear everything. With 75 watts, it's perfect for my needs.

I give it 5 stars.

I am no expert, but if that is rear-ported as it appears, you probably want it close ( not too close ) to a wall or similar reflection surface behind the combo when possible.

Don’t believe everything you read… I am somewhat familiar with this OEM. Different regions have different country of origin labeling standards.

The amp is very solid with good tone, but a little noisy with the volume knob turned up. I'm in a high-rise on the beach, so it could be the power supply is noisy. It's more than loud enough at 3 (lol).

I play active bass guitars with lots of tonal range. I typically keep my amp tone settings at 12 o'clock. The tone knobs on the amp work, but not as well as the controls on my bass.

I wanted a practice amp with some bottom end, with enough power that it could also be used in a band setting with a drummer. It had to be small as well. This little amp will do nicely.

Yes, for some American brands and often only some models, but American manufacturers must clearly state where the product was actually built. That's not the same for other regions. When an American country exports to Brazil for example, we must clearly state and label the country of origin in order to clear customs, a Brazilian company doers not have the same requirements (or enforced the same way).

So, I have fully moved to Brazil and I've had some time to experiment more with the amp. It turns out I had a bad cord in the mix. Once I removed it, all the buzz and hum in the amp disappeared. It's as quiet as my Peavey or Fender amp now, I mean it is almost silent. I was actually quite amazed. I have to boost the treble and mid and cut the bass to get a balanced signal. The bass response from this little amp is really impressive. Really loud when you need it, really quiet when you don't. I really made a good choice. I only wish I had identified the faulty cable earlier.
