Double Bass Metronome/Tuner iphone apps for double bass

I like the Tempo app for my metronome. I haven't tried them all by a long shot.
For the tuner I went ahead & splurged on the Peterson StroboSoft app. It looks classy, tracks well & is easy to read. IMHO it was well worth the $10 or whatever to rise above the very crowded field of cheesy free apps.

I had the Peterson tuner but now I'm using this: Tonal Energy Tuner
It's got a tuner, a drone, a fantastic metronome easily configurable to play complex rhythms, and the ability to record my playing and then play it back. It allows me to set practice goals and keeps me informed of how I'm doing with them.
I really enjoy practicing a lot more since I started using it.

The Total Energy tuner is very cool. I think David Moore suggests it in one of his videos. It has a function which evaluates your bow stroke for tone and resonance which is fun. I'm not sure what it actually shows, but I enjoy trying to get a flood of smiley faces -- smiley faces fill the screen when your tone is good -- in response to my arco.
I also use Tonal Energy. I don't use nearly half of its features--I primarily use its drones and to time my practice. The tuner is also good.
Another vote for Tonal Energy! I have tried a bunch including Peterson but I like TE the best!
For a tuner and drones, Tonal Energy is my favorite, although Tunable is a very good option as well.
For a metronome, despite TE having one built in my favorite is Time Guru, which has some really interesting ways of constructing bars/beats and has a “random mute” function that will randomly mute a percentage of clicks from the app.

I live in Tonal Energy during practice sessions - I practice to drones nearly all the time. I've even programmed in a set of drones that go through the circle of fifths for a frequent exercise based on the brass study "Beautiful Sounds" so I can play through the pattern in all keys without stopping and fiddling with the app.
The TE metronome will also randomly mute clicks, parameterized by percent. I don't do it often but it's a good way of making sure you don't get too dependent on the metronome. I'm curious about Time Guru - it's not that expensive but I'd like to learn a bit more before I spend money on it. Maybe their website has a demo, will check it out.
A tuner app is fine - tune and put the phone away. A metronome app is not a great idea, even in airplane mode phones are too distracting during practice. A standalone metronome is well worth it.

It's also way easier to change the BPMs on a standalone metronome while holding your bow IMHO.
