MI Electroacoustics head - does anybody know what's this?

Hello!!

I bought this amp about month ago, but I still don't know what's this. I bought it because the price was very low (300zl = +/- 120$ for head + cabinet). I was surprised when I heard it for the first time - it sounds great for me, besize it was in very good condition, altough it's 25 or more years old (older than me :D), so I paid for it and took it to my home.

Now I want to know more about it. So here's the question: Does anybody heard anything about this amp?? I searched the Internet for some information but didn't found anything.

Thanks for any information :)

P.S. Please excuse my English, I don't use it often so I don't practice as well.

The cab is from Italy by Gem. General Electro Music.
As far as I know they are still in business.
The amp is a complete mystery and I have seen a few amps in my 53 years and about 34 of those have been spent fixing them.
MI never see it before. Looks late seventies MIJ invasion maybe.

Well it is hard to explain how is it sound. You see, I have a 2x15 cabinet without any horn so it should sounds very muddy, but it doesn't Sometimes it sounds too clearly (metallic if you know what I mean) but fortunately I've found my optimal setting and I'm changing the sound turning the knobs in my bass only and I can play almost every kind of genres. For example when I turn the tone knob to maximum I can play all the early Jason Newsted stuff (with pick of course), and when I turn it down I can play jazz and pop ballads (with finger picking). I have pluged in only my ESP LTD B-55 with standard passive PJ pickups and I don't know how would it work e.g. with 2 humbuckers active bass and 4x10 cabinet.
But you have wide range of regulation. The front panel offers 3 band equalization (low, middle and treble) with Presence knob, onboard distortion (there is a switch between clean and distorted channel with one-knob-regulation of Sensitivity/Distortion) and 6-band graphic equalizer.
I agree that this is very unique and attractive. I must say that probably I'm the only user of this amp in Poland :D
