Michael Jackson's 'speed demon'

cant seem to find anyone on the net who has even attempted to play it!

I know it was written on synth, but i dont know by who??? anyone kno?? if it was written on sytnth then there should be sheet music for it!


any help would be amaaaaaazin!

It's not a real bass friendly tune. I can't even think of a cover band who would want to play it. Michael Jackson wrote the song. Quincy Jones produced the album. A bunch of folks given programming credit.

i dont belive he wrote the bassline though? i thought it was written by whoever played it on synth??

Well, it's a totally sequenced/programmed tune and that run in the chorus section is not quite condusive for cover band play. I'd like to hear someone do it if they can, though!

Wow dude...been practicing that lick for 20 mins fingerstyle just now and here you come doing it with the thumb! Great vid...any tips on how to play that fast with your thumb?

I put up an old vid few years back showing how i did it but I guess there are a few ways. no real right or wrong answer
I just find the double thumb most effective
