Yes it is but I should have been more clearer.


MJ gave to more different charities than any one else(what ever that's worth).


What is important is that MJ and Buffet have helped a lot of people out through the years.

I don't care how good a humanitarian he was, how much of a freak he was, or even how great of an entertainer he was. I am not going to see this movie because I refuse to cater to the media's cashing in on profits on his death. I wish this entire fiasco would just die already. No pun intended.

I probably won't see this movie unless it comes to Netflix, but I'd love it if they could come up with two hours of archive footage of the making of Off The Wall. I'd pay to see that.

One thing that struck me as odd in the article Jauqo posted earlier was the line, "And while it may be unusual for a 35-year-old man to have sleepovers with a 13-year-old child, the boy’s mother and others close to Jackson never thought it odd." I don't buy that at all- no good parent sees no issue with sending their child to stay with an unrelated grown man, no matter how innocent the guy may seem. The unfortunate thing is that you can only prove someone is a pedophile- you can never disprove it- so even if he had purely innocent intentions, his mistakes will label him as one to a lot of people for a long time, so they'll miss out on a lot of great music.

Ya know, I was thinking the same thing as I was watching it last night. That aspect bothered me a little. At the same time, the movie does give everyone the opportunity to see backstage into a pretty incredible production of a man who would not be around much longer. Half of me agrees with you, the other half doesn't. I thought the film was worth the 8 bucks, personally. I'm not sure whose pockets the money is lining, but as someone who was already a MJ fan, I walked away last night with more respect for him as a talent and a person.

I'd certainly recommend the film. I cannot call it a movie per se as it was phrenetic, and pieced together in poor documentary form. Despite that (who knew he'd be passing on and the footage would be used to make a flick??), it was interesting as all hell.
