Michael Kelly 5 String

 I have a Michael Kelly Dragonfly. But have not see one like it. First it is a string through bridge and is 32 inch scale. Also
on the inlay it has a rose on each end of the fret board and a dragonfly at the 9th fret with the vine runing the full link of the fret board. Finesh is all mapel wave front back and sides.
Thanks for any info. Wink :bassist:

I have the same bass. The 32" scale basses were the original models. The newer ones have a different inlay design on the neck and 34" scale.

Thank`s
I did`t think I would like it but with a set of strings
I got the sound I was trying to get. More like a upright. I like the string through bridge as I do think I could have put as heavy strings on it as I did. I put .045 -.132`s and had to shorted them and make a taper winding to get them to set in the bridge. They are DAddario flat wound cromes ECB81-5. Not much as and acoustic but is great pluged in.
How do you like yours?
