As I have said in a Clemens thread I started, outrage is not the same for all rich athletes.
And probably won't be in our lifetimes... not at this rate.
Kinda sad, really. Barry Bonds was/is viewed as everything that's wrong with baseball. It seems some of the shows I listen to are actually giving credence to the possibility that Clemens is innocent. Sure, it's possible....but it's about as likely as Bonds being innocent (and we all know he's the anti-christ).

Here is what i don't understand, please, Brad, woodchuck, Cheese... explain this to me... When i hear about Russians doing bad deeds, I feel ashame. I am PISSED at what goes on in my culture. I care not to excuse it nor explain it. Why do you feel the need to defend a bad deed just because someone came from your culture?

It's a little late, but Dave, I don't know a single Hunter who does not eat their kill or at least give it to organization that feed homeless... One way or another, the kill gets eaten.
Then maybe you need to get out more often. It's not like sports hunters are some type of rare breed.

There's a very simple reason why you don't understand it. It's the same reason you think ANY of the people you just mentioned DEFENDED Michael Vick.
Go ahead and recap what my (meaning me, Brad Johnson) DEFENSE of Michael Vick is and I'll explain why, even though I've never defended him, I did.
I'm a fisherman, and a good one at that. I have a very nice offshore boat that I take a lot of pride in. I'll sometimes head up to 100 miles offshore in search of the catch. The Fish & Game regulations are well thought out and exist for several reasons. If you disobey them, you will get caught, and the punishment is swift and severe. Having said that, I never take more than I can eat, and that's usally far less than the regs allow. The firearms hunters I know all subscribe to these same ideals. And to me, it makes no difference if you're using a rifle or a fishing pole. Eat what you take, and take no more than you can consume. Save some for future generations or that next trip.

I think you're right Kserg....I get out a lot and I very, very rarely hear of anybody shooting game and leaving it where it falls. At least not here in California. People that do that are total tards, and eventually, they'll screw up and get caught.
Same thing with poachers. It's inevitable. The Calif. DFG doesn't fool around. At all.

I have to echo Brad. I never defended Vick. I said that I did not feel his crimes were the sort of atrocities against humanity that some suggest, but I never defended his bad deeds, and if you actually read what I and other Blacks said instead of injecting it with your bias, you would see that Kserg. I can't explain what is not there (a defense of Vick.)
