Michael Vick pwned!

Both parents were over 6'6" and lanky, but this kid is just huge.

Mike

Yeah, but it's not the size of the baby in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the baby.

As for Vick, that's longer than I expected. I was assuming 12-15 with a suspension by the NFL to follow. I'm starting to wonder if he'll ever return to the NFL. After all, I believe he still has state charges to deal with. If convicted, and they don't run the sentences concurrently, he could be in jail for a long time.

I think that's fair. He'll be out in 18-20 months if he behaves. One thing that they fail to mention is he tested positive for drugs when he showed up for jail or a pre-trial hearing?? That violated his agreement of surrender or bail. The judge dinged him a few extra months for that :smug: He's also paid 1m for the upkeep, re-hab, training and vet bills for the 40+ dogs they confiscated. None are being put down, that's cool. Then there are all the other fines, loss of revenue, career, etc. He's paying big time no matter how you look at it.

He will do 23 months. Remember, there is no federal parole. That is also why I think state charges for a man who has already plead guilty and is currently in federal prison is a waste of the state of Virginia's money, but is too easy a political target for a local DA or state attorney general to resist.:spit:

OK Doc.....................

What punishment would YOU have handed down??? :eyebrow:

Other than loss of revenue or career, he actually got off easy compared to some of the white Florida rednecks and Mexican locals around here for the same crimes.

Loss of revenue and career in the case of Vick is in the millions and is not recoverable. I would have given him 9-12 months, as big a fine as the law allows, and court costs with three years probation. IMO, that would be alot for killing dogs.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but is there actually a video tape showing Vick throwing dogs on the ground head first??? I think this is just inter-office gossip, but if that's true....

How the hell do you throw a mad pitbull on his head?? :eyebrow: It wouldn't hurt them anyway. There's been times where I've tried out of shear desperation and couldn't and I'm bigger than Vick!! I'd rather try to throw an alligator on his head

Killing and torturing animals for pleasure is usually a good indication of psychopathic behavior.
I know many people view anything "less" than a human as property, but Vick's actions show absolutely disgusting immoral acts against life.
Electricuting dogs, drowning dogs, slamming them against the floor /wall until they're dead. These are NOT actions that a "normal" person would exhibit.
I'm personally disgusted that anyone could defend him or his actions, but i am aware that based on personal upbringing/religious affiliations, many people can/will justify this behavior for "entertainment."
Maybe in prison he will feel what it is like to have to fight for his own life, like he made many dogs do. But being of high "political" status, maybe he'll be put in one of those really nice, min. security prisons.....??
I don't feel sorry for him at all.

I'd vehemently agree with all of the above!!! Some obviously would not, however. :rollno:
