Microtubes Infinity and Microtubes amp head

Are there owners of the Infinity microtubes, as well as the Microtubes v2 head (500v or 900v)?
I would like to know if you use the pedal with the head or if it makes duplicate

The Infinity pedal will be a lot easier to use for changing your distortion on the fly. The amp is versatile but the optimal setting for the built in drives and the clean tones require some tweaking in my experience. Utilizing both the pedal and amp sounds like a good idea to me. You can have the amp be set for mild drive and use the pedal to control the varying degrees of filth after your “clean” amp tone. I think you will find some sounds that are similar but having both will allow you even more control over your tone. The amp will be able to take the pedal to new a territory of distortion if extreme filth is your goal, but you could tone it down and get a wonderfully complex low gain tone.

I do not believe the amp makes the pedal redundant however you may find the simplicity of the amp appealing, just depends on your goals and what you like to do when you play.

Currently I use it passing in the loop of a HX Stomp, which allows me to also manage (or try) Noise Gate, HPF, etc.. I’m not looking for extremes filth but just some 2 or 3 different signatures of sound to manage with in a kind of nu / groove metal band.

I noticed that levels and breaths are more difficult to manage without passing through the HX stomp.
This one brings consistent options in addition to me, but I’m also afraid of losing a bit in sound quality
Do some also use these tools in the same way?
