I have several midi devices on my board now being managed via a Boss ES-5. I also want to send control messages to a synth from the ES-5. I think I need a midi splitter at this point. Most of the one's I've seen require power over midi. I am not sure if the ES-5 provides that. The best solution I've seen is the Invalid Link Removed. It takes standard 9v DC power. But that seems to have been out of production for a while. Any suggestions?

I have an ES-8, and a midi solutions 4 way split. The boss powers it just fine.

This is a better answer than mine, but the Boss SY-300 powers my MIDI Solutions devices. So I would guess that Boss in general would work.
