Double Bass Milt Hinton & Slam Stewart bass methods ?

Hi Everyone !
Does anybody know something about a bass method written by Slam Stewart ?
and a bass method by Milt Hinton?
I've read somewhere that they both have write one, but I can't find it anywhere.
They are probably out of print since a long time (as Bob Haggart's book)...
Maybe someone as a copy ?

About the milt Hinton's book, this is something I have read in the liner notes of a CD "bass and percussion with jo Jones"

Thanks! I looked through it and there are some nice exercises. And the arco solo transcription at the end is cool, gotta hum while playing it!

I had Charles Mingus tell my dad and me to get Milt Hinton’s book when my dad told him I was taking up the bass

My dad was a piano player and had played with Mingus out in LA during the Central Avenue scene in the ‘40s and he had come through our town on a concert date. They reminisced on the old cats they knew and who was left. This was right before Charles died
