I can't get rubber cement until tomorrow... What about bathroom silicone? It's pretty similar to liquid gasket. Very strong but flexible

That will work if it's silicone bathtub caulk. Just let the speaker air dry/cure out of the cabinet overnight so the chemicals can evaporate and don't eat it.

Don't go heavy with the silicone though. That stuff is heavy and you don't want to cause the cone to sag or twist. That can cause voice coil rub and the death of a speaker.

Ya, remember you're adding mass to one side of the cone. It shouldn't take very much to do the repair, but if for some reason it does, put some directly on the opposite side of the cone to balance it out. You don't need a repair over there, bit it's to keep the cone balanced. Talking miniscule amoints of weight here, but also talking about a shaped/formed piece of paper/kevlar impregnated cardboard. Fractions of a gram matter.

He means the chemicals in the silicone evaporate to air and not concentrate in the cab to eat rubber parts, of which there are none?

Read some stuff somewhere that the gasses could weaken some adhesives? Doesn't make it true, but it certainly won't hurt to just let it air out/dry overnight before putting it back together.

Speaker is broken in two places... It's a goner I think. Note the lovely holes in the mesh that link up perfectly with my ruined speaker. I can get some silicone today (mine had dried out) and have a go at fixing but I'm doubting it.
On another note, I ran my T-max at 8 ohms and it now has serious problems. It cuts intermittently, which I can fix only by cursing and tugging on my Graphic EQ for two to fifteen minutes. It's almost certainly not because I ran it at 8 ohms, but because my repair guy is an anus. I don't want to use him again but if he didn't fix it right the first time he owes me a fixed amp.

That is repairable but use the rubber cement available at any grocery store/ drug store/ office supply. Single sheet toilet paper (smallest piece as possible as a patch) in the "ribbed" part.

Rubber cement seems to be one of those things that you can get everywhere but here. I got a tip off that I might find some at a bike shop however, so I'll hit a bike shop today while I drop this amp off.
Damn useless tech. I'm really glad I asked you all about running the amp at 8 ohms, otherwise I would've come crying back to the guy saying, "I ran it at 8 ohms and I broke it!"
