Mini amp similar to Dano Honeytone?

My friends and I are playing Virgin Festival this weekend and we've been asked to do a series of acoustic performances to help with promotion. I don't own an acoustic bass, but instead I was thinking of using a really small amp like a Danelectro Honeytone. It needs to be battery powered because there'll likely be no power (otherwise I'd bring my little Peavey Microbass).

Has anyone ever played bass through one of these small amps? Can you recommend a battery powered, ultra portable alternative?

Thanks TB!

Problem solved. I ended up renting an Epiphone El Capitan acoustic bass for the astonishingly low price of $27/month. It sounds surprisingly good! I just went to the store to buy strings and a strap and ended up playing this bass for a solid 20 minutes. The body is bloody huge and the neck feels longer than most (maybe just because I'm a Mustang/Musicmaster player), but other than that it's really nicely put together and even has some EQ controls and built in tuner.
