Mini Rigs of Doom Four

Does this count? The whole thing weighs only a hair over 70 lbs.

Emphasis on "doom", I guess...

Agreed. Mini rigs of doom is just that-- a small head-- small cabinet-- loud sound!

.......and yet just a few posts above this one I posted a double stack Eden with a 500 watt GK. Sheesh!
Let's not forget, the qualifier is that you can carry your entire rig, including bass, into the venue with one trip and no cart. This seems to get lost quite a lot in this thread.

Or was it the 'micro' rigs of doom? Whatever!

I think you're remembering correctly.
Of course, the guideline gets deluded as the thread moves along and the premise is not restated every so often.

I believe there is something that could improve this great thread. If posters would also include a description of their equipment in the posting (i.e. manufacturer and model) instead of just posting pictures, others could search the thread, for example to see what cabinets other folks have matched with a particular head.

This might be doom related, and it's definitely mini. This is what I'm using for my new project which is all acoustic so far. They haven't seen my Lakland Decade yet though :D

My case for this being doom content is that it's in a subterranean locale, there is an OD on the board, regardless of whether or not I'm using it , and that nano board now contains Damnation Audio, regardless of whether or not I intend to use it with this group :cautious:

Sonic Research mini tuner
Bearfoot Blueberry BOD (now a DA MBD-1)
FEA Opti-FET compressor
Broughton HPF
Mesa D800
Bergantino HD112

As for the big wooden box, I'm in the wrong forum. That doesn't matter though because I need to shed every single day for another year before I will claim I "play upright". There it is anyway... :)
