Mini Rigs of Doom Four

...Maybe as much as that old washtub bass cowboy.
Who, this guy? :D

Here's my janky BFM Jack 10 and Phil Jones D-200. The Jack's efficiency pairs well with the D-200's low wattage. They really do make a nice pair.

Look at the eq needed to smooth out the Jack's midrange bumps. And it wasn't until I took this picture that I noticed the D-200 is missing some faceplate screws! Rattled out on the road somewhere no doubt. Both the Jack and the PJB are very high mileage.

What kind of bass is that? Looks cool! I like how straightforward your setup is-- foot pedals into a powered cab. Easy and fast setup/breakdown!
It’s a Benavente SCD4. I pulled the original pickups and put in Nordy Big Singles, and run it passive, wired volume/volume.
The rig is as straight forward as you can get. The Zoom pedals handle everything I need, and the powered wedge crushes!

For a real vintage look, a bakelite cab:

The cab is actually a box in a box with a Jensen BS 8N/250A speaker which gives a very warm sound:

With the Hotone Thunder Bass good for living room or bedroom volumes.

My girlfriend likes it because it matches our interior with a lot of vintage stuff.;)
