Very nice. Kinda like having a diesel truck behind ya huh!The D112xst and my old CX110 are getting the right height so I don't have to bend. You can see the stack behind me, I'm 5'9" , on bluegrass&country gigs I'm way over 5'10"![]()

So here's my home practice mini rig, after I ruined my organ amp trying to extract it from the actual organ:
This 'Mini Rigs Of Doom' page has been going for a long time, and appears to have gone a little off track. May I suggest you return when you have a 'Rig' (bass amplifier and speaker cabinet, or at least a combo).

(note that I made some small changes in the signal path since the picture was taken, following is the correct one):
Ibanez Mikro (with a pair of P/J EMG Geezer Butler pickups)>> Boss LS-2 [A+B>>Bypass]>
-LS-2 [Loop A]> EHX Black Finger (run as tube preamp)
-LS-2 [Loop B]> Monarch MFL-22 (flanger)> Behringer Ultragain Mic100 (microphone preamp equipped with an EHX 12AX7 preamp tube)> Joyo Orange Juice> Harley Benton California TrueTone (same as Joyo California Sound)
-LS-2 [Output] M-Audio Fast Track (sound interface run on direct monitoring via wall outlet/USB adapter)
The headphones I use is a pair of Sennheiser HD 380 Pro
Loop A loudest and set to a very tuby warm deep tone with a bit of tube overdrive when digging in, Loop B a bit more dialed back and brighter as well as more aggressive with a light overdrive.
Together it sounds really nice actually:
Punchy and raw with a bit hair as well without for that reason getting muddy or loosing definition.
Eventually I plan on getting a Mackie Thump 15 active PA speaker (15"+horn, 500W RMS (1000 peak), Freq response: 32 - 23,000 Hz, 3 band EQ with sweepable mids) to make it possible for me to practice without headphones, as well as the possibility to use it as an emergency rig.
Probably going to put on my Behringer BEQ700 7 band graphic bass equalizer at the end of the chain too, right before the sound interface, as the tone now is just a tad bit harsh, even for my liking, but I am sure it could be corrected by cutting some highs.
Badazzzzz! My at-home-rig that can also be used in a semi-accouastic session in a bar. Awesome sound! Would love an other SWR WM 10 cab for even more powerrrr!

Interesting....the TH 500 has quite a bit more power than the minimark's head.Yes, it is.
Plus a big dash of grind. (Should you wish it).The speakers (as a set of two at 8 Ohms) are rated for 300 watts, so technically, they should handle the 250 watts out of the Aguilar. But, we all know that power ratings on speakers are for thermal limits, not mechanical limits, so I would just use it for low volume situations and keep one ear on it if it got kind of loud. I love the built-in amp of the Minimark, but this would provide more flexibility EQ-wise.
Think of the Minimark's speaker cabinet as half a NY604, but still at 8 Ohms....I didn't realize those speakers were rated so high....
What is that amp head that is sitting at the bottom of your bookcase?
