Mini Rigs of Doom Four

Here's what I have been happily using... Tone Hammer 500 and two Ampeg Micro 2x10 AV's. It's nice to be able to adjust cabinet usage based on venue size. Believe it or not, all of this fits in a Miata (I have no choice but use smaller setups).

OK, I have a Miata and it is full with my Berg CN112, TH, gig bag, NXT EUB, mic stand & music stand.

I don't see how you get two 2-10's in one. And two J's? With the top down and the trunk closed? My hats off to you!

I have an NC Miata which has a bit more room... one of the 2x10 cabs goes in the trunk with the pedal board, second cab gets buckled in the front seat, and double gig bag runs from floor board and in between the seats... barely enough room to put the top up and shift, but it works. I'll take a picture next gig I play ;)

An update on my bass mini rig of doom, full with bass, effects and amps!:

Signal path:

Ibanez Mikro Bass (with EMG Geezer Butler pickups)>> EHX Black Finger (always on)> Boss LS-2 (Loop A)> (Boss MT-2> EHX Tube Zipper (used as fuzz)> Harley Benton California TrueTone)*> Boss LS-2 (Loop A>>Bypass)> Joyo Orange Juice> Monarch MFL-22 (flanger)> Zoom B3 (third slot AcBsPre always on, set flat only utilizing the Depth parameter as HPF set to around 40Hz)> Boss FV-50H >> Trace Elliot GP75SM 130W 15" (via Tuner Out)>> Joyo Orange Juice (always on)> Behringer BEQ700 (always on)>> Dynacord Bass King 50W with 15" cab

*These 3 pedals are used stacked and the California is run at low gain so that it mainly works as tone shaper for my MT-2>Tube Zipper fuzz sound (also the Harley Benton California TrueTone pedal is basically just a relabeled Joyo California Sound pedal)

Well I finally got around to taking pictures of my Mini Rig of Doom! Two Eden EX110 8 ohm cabs, Gallien Krueger MB200 and MB500. I played this with some friends in my man cave and barely needed to turn above 8:00 (or 2) and had all the settings flat.

This is a great little rig! It has some pretty impressive bottom end for a couple 10's! I had no idea these little guys would sound so good. Notice the cabs are a full 15" deep and have a couple nice fat ports in front. The whizzer cone provides a surprising amount of crispness, just enough for me. There is also a Nano Rigs of Doom thread.. I sneaked them over there too.... ;)

Here's my portable rig. I've been using just the 12" + head, it worked well for many situations. Both cabinets are just incredible even with 5-strings. I love the sound of the Fender jazz bass through it, for the P-bass I put the Walter Woods on top instead of the Walkabout.

How did your bottom logo end up sideways??????

It's and Eden 112xlt, or xst... it's not sideways, the cab is just on its side..

The D112xst and my old CX110 are getting the right height so I don't have to bend. You can see the stack behind me, I'm 5'9" , on bluegrass&country gigs I'm way over 5'10" ;)
