Perhaps a mod could inject some definitions to these mini micro nano rig threads.

I propose the following qualifiers:
Mini , single trip load in, trolley allowed.
Micro, single trip load in, no trolley allowed.
Nano, single trip load in, two blocks away no setting down allowed, no trolley allowed.

I like those qualifiers for the rig. Itself.

But if you play DB or double on EB and DB, or have more than one or two basses; the one trip load-ins are still a dream no matter the rig size.

I have owned the BAM, Thrust 250 and the GK MB200 with a ELF 2x8 and a TC 2x8. I still have both 2x8 cabinets - but I can tell you the GK sounds about twice as loud as the BAM both running a 8 ohms (1 2x8 cabinet for each.

The more I see these Trace Elf cabs, the more I want to try them

Here is one.... 28 lbs cab, Schroeder 12PL; and a 6.5 lbs Bergantino B|Amp. Small foot print, goes any where.
Pretty versatile and powerful too.

If you go back to post 1760 page 88 - I wrote a small detail of my likes - but the short version is I like them both - the ELF 208 and the TC 208. Use both with a Mark Bass Gold line 500 and mostly short scale basses.

Yes, the new Compact 2 just came out. The Cub Pro came from Japan and has output for an extension speaker and the Earbox.

yes, but not at high volume levels.

My mini. Built-in trolley.

My former mini. Plenty loud, didn’t sound good enough.

I’m looking at a Phil Jones 8x5 for a possible future mini.
