GReat rig indded. I'm happy they come out with an NT version of the DB112 (I may go for 2 of them since I don't care much for tweeters).

Gotta give a big +1 to that. I couldn't believe my ears when Toby plugged his B2 in. WOW! TONS of low end, below a low B even.
Anyone know how well the Avatar 1x12 cabinets handle the low B? I'm trying to go small and LOUD with 2 single 12" cabinets and still have enough BOOM with the low B to play with a rocking band. I'm totally not interested in some huge, heavy rig.
I have a 300 watt head, 4x10 and 1x15 right now and I'm just over it. I just want to sell them and lose the bulk.

Decisions, decisions. I've been using the MarkBass LMII DI out to drive the Bergie IP112/EX112. What a Coool Rig!
But I am also going to pull the Mesa Walkabout head from the combo and use that as a Preamp with the Bergie IP112/EX112 stack at my gigs this weekend.
PS: Yes, I have connected all four Bergantino 112 cabs using the Markbass LMII DI as a slave output to drive the IP112/EX112 stack at the same time as the HT/EX stack. It was, well, .... Massively Cool, tight, punchy and the stuff dreams are made of. Gary

Aram, The Mesa has a bit more more roundness/ and low end bloom. Also note; the Mesa 112 Scout cab has an 8" Passive Radiator on the bottom.
For quieter/small-to-medium sized gigs, the Mesa 112 is a little more vintage sounding. But the Mesa rig only goes so loud before it starts going into a mild tube distortion. (and never gets louder) Alternately, I've used the Markbass LMII head with a single Bergie HT112 with my band at our rehearsal space and that little rig just kills, it's so good. Plenty of headroom.
If I had to choose, I would choose the Bergie HT112 everytime. Plus, it's smaller and easier to carry. That said, the Mesa rig has such a cool tone and vibe. It's a killer combo for the right gigs. I just need to remember it's limitations in terms of clean volume and headroom. Gary

It's funny, I use a very small cabinet (Yamaha BBT110) for almost all my gigs, since I rely on public transit, and I find it's surprisingly louder than some bigger cabinets I've used. I guess some cabs just punch through better than others, in terms of volume.

I think the smaller Bergie cabs have a bit more engineering to them than many 112 cabs. They are incredibly portable which is one of the reasons I love them so much.
I know of players who use an Epifani VL110 cab and they are amazed by what it will do.
Be aware; Bergantino is introducing a 110 version of this cab. It's the same size as the HT112 but it has the bigger Bergie Horn instead of the bullet style tweeter. The Bergie HT110 (or whatever he calls) it allegedly plays even a little deeper than the HT112. Gary
Those are INCREDIBLE 110 cabs! I just sold a pair of those New-in-box that I bought as backups to my first pair in a fit of POST-ownership GAS.
Ok...I got my second GS-112, so I figured I show the progress. I am still waiting on my Markbass F1 to come in, so it won;t be complete until then...but for now:
I'm also getting (2) Aggie DB-112 cabs for live use. The GS-112's are perfect for solo practice for me...they are super clear. The DB's will help cut a little better at a gig. SO it won;t fully be complete until then, but that's not going to be for a little while! Enjoy...

Nice setup man. Interested how the DB112 cabs sound with the LMII. (Dig the mounted stroboflip.)
