Hey how does the Behringer rack tuner work for you? Do you use it w/ a 5-string? I have heard mixed results on that tuner. Just wondering how you like it?

I had horrible luck with mine. FYI.

The features were cool, but it was terrible at tracking, especially on the lower notes. BIG problems on the lo B. It "worked", but barely. Far worse than my $15 Korg pocket tuner. FAR worse.

I took it back.

They only look small, they sound HUGE! A friend of mine sat in and played through this rig. He has just recently restored a early '70's SVT rig and is now considering getting the same rig and getting rid of his SVT. It sounds that big and loud!!

its just that i thought they would of been the same size as the epi 112s, not quite sure why. but comparing them to the 902 head i see they are a bit smaller, im sure they sound great.

Those cabs really are the "Ferrari F50s" of bass amplification, aren't they? Just beautiful!

Kustom still sounding better than the Markbass. Tried all Equalizer combinations. Still not happy with it, and getting frustrated. Glad I didnt sell my Kustom first.

Is the red tolex a new option or is it aftermarket?

That rig costs more than an IP112 rig!

Would love to hear the Epi head. They are pricey.

It just might be that the Kustom is better suited for you than the MarkBass. Nothing wrong with that and a perfect example why there is more than one amplifier company in business!

How well does that rig handle the low B string?

Well... I 'm very demanding on this issue, and believe me this rig can handle the low b better than bigger rigs. And its loud too btw. Before this rig I was using a MoBass (SWR) head with a 4x10 cab, and a 6x10 cab in the past... and now I like my tone much better than before! Especially with the low freq.

My new rig

I sold my Eden WT400/Ampeg SVT-410HLF wanting a more portable rig.
I bought Aguilar AG500 SC and a Aguilar DB-112 (felt immediately in love with the tweed

First small gig this Saturday playing maybe 45 people in the back room of a restaurant.

But the 112 couldn’t get even near to the volume I needed to cut through to the front of the stage.
Very loud drummer though..

Quite disappointed, small rig / no doom.
How du you guys get by with just one 12"?

So I just got the Aguilar DB-112 NT (serial number 00008!) through the door, now I got the volume, but not quite the
portability I was hoping for; two 20 kg cabs, amp 7 kg amp,
stomps and the Lakland JO5 to drag around.

Sound really sweet, just the tone I was looking for, so all in all I’m happy, it does fit in my car.
