Got the mf drive today. And I will say it probably the most versatile drive pedal in terms of tone that I've played. And I've had too many to list. I don't think I'd ever use the expression pedal with it though, way to small of a sweep. Feels more like a wah, which is probably what they were going for? Anyways I love it after my TAFM, it smooths it out and adds its filtered tone to the fuzz from the tafm, really synthy with an oc2. By itself it's nice but not the best I've heard, but has an enormous low-end. I like it and probably will keep it. When I have time I'll post some sound clips!

Just pre-ordered the trem through Sweetwater. I'm pretty excited about it. It's hard to find a trem with waveform selection and an expression jack that controls speed for less than $200 (hard for me to find at least). Pair that with my Iron Ether Xero Dlx and my forthcoming SubT (the wait is killing me), I gunna get some sweet synthy dub sounds.

Did you end up getting the trem? What did you think? In particular how easily can it get into crazier (deeper modulation or phasing or flanging) territory? I ask because I don't have a ton of use for simple trem on bass but would love what is basically a Moog mini-phase.

It's funny - I would have thought Moog would have released as a first batch :

- MF-Delay (ok they got that one right and I can't wait - still dying fort reviews if anyone has one)
- MF-Filter (I don't really know how much the Drive can achieve in this light but)
- MF-Phase (does the trem capture this)
- MF-Flux (chorus / flange)

I just pre-ordered the Delay from Sweetwater. I am in the market for a delay pedal anyway, so I figured I might as well give it a try.

Here are some thoughts (and I am a Moog enthusiast- own a set of Taurus III pedals):

1. I think a more affordable option that also fits on most pedalboards is a great idea. I don't think it cheapens the brand and I think it could even serve as a great intro for some.

2. I was surprised by no envelope filter. However, I wonder if perhaps they just haven't gotten it where they want yet. Moog has a reputation for being run by the engineers, not some corporate suits per se. As such, it may not be that they passed on doing that pedal and instead are still working on getting it where they want. If these are successful, I'm sure we'll see one eventually is my guess. Of course, I could be wrong, but it is a possibility.

I did and it got backordered. I ended up not getting it at the time due to the wait and picked up a used MXR.

Got the trem and it's a great little box. Don't expect anything other than trem though. I got the Moog expression pedal with it to and it's pretty cool, the only thing I could have asked for was a tap tempo. Unfortunately for me, I don't have a use for it anymore since I'm no longer playing with the group I got it for. So off to CL with it.

Does anyone have anymore info on the MF Trem? Just scored a brand new one for $90 off musiciansfriend..
Based on the few user reviews and demos I felt it was worth it, but would still like to hear what you guys think.
Any reviews, bass demo vidz, etc?

I'm about to pick up the ring mod because I've wanted one for a while and this seems simpler than the Ring Thing

I love the MF Ring. Its especially great with the Expression pedal. I used to have it after my dirt and it was more dramatic there and was great for really weird bell tones and wacked out ring mod effects. Lately I have been putting it before my dirt and it is much more subtle and paired with fuzz is a really cool industrial like tone. I am thinking it will stay in that place for quite a while.
