It looks like an Alembic, but I dunno enough about em to say whether it really is or not.

Looks like an old carl thompson to me. Deffinantly not an alembic. Alembic may have been the inspiration however.
Its likely a personal project someone did and liked aspects of both CT and Alembic.

It'a a Hyak! It was built buy a former Alembic employee.I used to own two of them.

I was thinking a one off alembic. Maybe that guy was making basses after hours using alembic's equipment. Looks like Alembic electronics. I remember an interview with Entwhistle where he said he was getting tired of all the external preamps, power supplies stc...I think thats when he packed in boris.
