Amazing tone on that one. Fat yet not overbearingly bassy, just cool and full. Started looking for songs you suggested and kind of got stuck on that one because the tone is all that! Maybe you could take us briefly through the signal path, please. Was that the Starfire?

Starfire, DI input of BAE 312 mic pre, into Pro Tools Mix system. That's all you get, sorry! :-) Wish it was more interesting, but it just isn't...a LOT of Vultures was DI bass.

Nice! I have to get a Starfire or an EB-2 or something like that. I only have one hollowbody, a Jay Turser Beatle bass copy, and I love it, but it doesn't sound like that.
