Mixed string type

Changed my strings today, DR Lo Rider SS( like usual ), and for the 4th time now in 1 and a half years I end up with my E string being nickel in the pack. To me sounds different, feels different, and worst of all turnes my skin black and smells nasty. I contacted the seller about a year and a half ago when this first happened and was advised to contact the manufacturer. So I did and got no response. I know the seller sells single strings so this leaves me wondering if it's actually the seller remaking sets and messing up. Idk. Curious if anyone else using DR has had this happen?
Frustrated and looking for advice from the hive mind. Do I bug the seller, the manufacturer, or just chalk it up and buy strings elsewhere in hopes this doesn't continue? Don't know if I can force myself to switch from SS Lo Riders!!
Yes I'm partly just ranting/venting but really would like to know if this is happening/has happened to others using DR strings.

I do understand what you're saying... Any reputable online dealer should be able to get it all straightened out; if not, I would suggest you contact DR directly to see what they have to say.

I would STRONGLY advise that you stop buying strings from that seller. The odds of a misplaced E happening from a factory error FOUR TIMES are astronomical.

Decided the best course of action was to contact the seller and manufacturer so that they are at least aware. Within minutes of contacting the seller via their website contact page my phone rang, which it rarely does lol, and it was the seller. We spoke briefly and he forwarded me a contact at DR strings and asked me to let them know of my issue and basically said one way or another I'd be taken care of. I quite appreciate a buisness owner reaching out to resolve potential problems, seems far more common these days for web retailers to just ignore issues.
At the end of the day my biggest concern was to prevent others from having the same thing happen to them.
