I found a Roland Go Mixer Pro X at a pawn shop for $100. I was going to pick it up and see if it worked with my smartphone, but then I saw these other mixers and there is quite a difference in price. The Roland looks cheaply made. Will the other mixers do the same thing? Why is the Roland $160.00? I did notice it had a designated buffer for bass/guitar.
I am not interested in using a laptop/desktop computer or interfacing....I don't care about hooking up mics or any other instruments and not interested in built in effects. Just a smartphone, running through my pedals and amp if that is possible and recording practice videos. For the total price, I should just buy all three and review them... maybe I will.
So, has anyone had better results with each tool? Will my phone work with all of them? Will my basses sound better with certain units, etc?
