Gotta say, as much as I love the game, it's never been less exciting. Everyone is waiting for a pitch to pull and jack out of the yard or strikeout. No strategy (bunting, hitting the opposite way, hit and run, etc.).
You are not watching the gIANTS. They bunt quite a bit, they steal and manufacture runs often. They are not really good overall in their record but they have a bunch of rookie pitchers that have been surprisingly good (including Pudge Rodriguez's kid) and Alen Hansen who can play every position in the infield and outfield.
Gorky's Hernandez is having a heck of season and playing CF with style.

Mariners have escaped from Boston, New York, and Houston. Now they get to play normal major league teams instead of whatever insanity those three have cooked up this year. There's hope for playoffs after all!
