MM Bongo HH: explain the controls?

I have a new Bongo 4HH coming this week
I've been fooling with one at GC, and nobody really seemed to know the layout of the controls..

can someone explain the stacked controls,what's what..etc?

It's vol, blend, and two sets of stacked pots. They comprise a 4 band EQ-Hi, Mid Hi, Mid, Low.

so the first dial closest to the strings, I assume is:
master V
then Blend

then Hi (inner control)and Hi mid(outer control)

and last control would be..
Lo mid(inner control) Low (outer control)

am I correct?

With the Bass on a strap, as you look down on it ...

Left to Right:
1) Master volume
2) Blend (For piezo models, this is a stacked pot -- the inner is piezo/mag blend, the outer is neck/bridge Blend)
3) Stack: High Mid (inner) / Low Mid (outer)
4) Stack: Treble (inner) / Bass (outer)

FWIW, this is why some folks (me included, initially) can't get a tone they like out of the Bongo. If you make the wrong assumptions about the control layout, you can't get it to behave like you expect.
