I have a Jazz Bass build that has a (Seymour Duncan) Musicman pickup in the bridge position and of course a Jazz Bass pickup (Fender Gen.4) in the neck position, All Passive, no preamp; Does anyone have a/the proper wiring schematic for this set up? Is it wired up the same as a "regular"/normal Jazz Bass? 'cause I wired it up like I would a "normal" Jazz Bass, but it (the MM pickup) sounds "out of phase", while the Jazz pups in the neck position sounds perfectly fine. ... and Does the MM pup always sound "weird" when there's no preamp involved? Thanks.
