The bridge is not a pure MM, but it gets very close, it's very versatile....

Sandberg and Clover are both excellent makes.

Both are close, but neither have both pickup in the classic position. Because the classic position for a P pickup and an MM pickup overlap slightly, so generally i think they move the MM pickup a bit closer to the bridge.

I have the 21 fret version of this bass. Sounds great. My only advice would be to go with a preamp that has active buffering like the Audere or U-Retro. With a passive blend, you either get all P, all MM or a blend of the two with the MM somewhat dominating the sound.

not trying to hijack the thread but this is something ive been thinking about doing , does anybody know the dimensions of a standard MM type pickup , anyone know of any passive MM style pickups ?
