Modded Porkloin vs. Fifth Gear v1

So I own a Modded Porkloin and have a Fifth Gear v1 coming from a trade. I use the PL as an always-on low OD Preamp and I would like to hear from anyone who has used both. I am wondering if the FG will take the place of the PL, as I'm putting together a Nano board, and space is at a premium. What say ya'll?

Can't speak for the PL, but ime the 5th Gear is at it's best pushing other pedals. I don't love it on its own, but ymmv as they say.
