Modest Mike's Mods?

Tried a Search but TB's search function doesn't like multiple word searches. "Modest Mike" is more than one word so I didn't find anything. Maybe I'm just not very savvy at using the Search feature.

Anyway, do any of you guys/girls have experience with [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]?

I read some good things about his guitar pedal mods on The Gear Page and he has a few demo [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] on his site of his modified pedals that sound really good. I didn't see anything on there specifically about bass pedals and I haven't read anything from anyone about them either.

So I thought I'd ask here (best place online for bass related info, right?).

That's good to hear. Seems pretty straight forward. I contacted him about a pedaled and he told me that he wasn't familiar with the pedal but referred me to someone else. I thought that was nice. His communication was better than what I got from Steve McKinley, FWIW.

He's right...if you think there is a chance you may want to sell the pedal later, it's better not to have an old Rat (as well as other old pedals). If a pedal like this one is modified, it goes down in value. I believe it would be better to keep your current Rat as is. If you have seen the video:

And if you like the sound, I recommend getting one of our newer Phat Rats That has already been modified.

P.S.
Check our eBay store, we have several pedals that have been modified for bass players :)
