Modulus on a Budget project

I have gotten my hands on a Ray4 for really cheap, and i was thinking of putting a Legacy Lane Poor and an Aguilar OBP-1 in It to get approximately the same type of sound of a Modulus FU.

I would like to know if any of you attempted something like that, or if there are any valid alternatives that come close Lane Poor (Legacy), as they are very rare to come by and are also not so cheap.

The only thing i know about those pickups Is that they are ceramic humbuckers Wired in Parallel without exposed magnets. If you have any more info, It would be very much appreciated.

Hi, im with the same proyect as you, got a Stingray and a Ray4, and i tried to turn the Ray4 into a something like a modulus. I have the Aguilar OBP-1 preamp, and a Lane Poor pickup, and yes... They help, but is not at all the same sound... I think the secret of the Modulus sound is on the graphite neck... So i'm building a graphite neck too. Hahahaha

Also, i would love to hear some sound samples so i can understand if i should keep going with my idea or perhaps think about something else.
