I always like to hear a fretless player not going full Jaco.

I prefer that as well; I'd rather hear traces of Jones, Karn, or Saunders, which there seemed to be a little bit of. However, at one point she was reaching the kind of fluidity that I've only heard Alan Holdsworth pull off on guitar.

Yeah - what he said. Never thought I would agree with anyone comparing any bassist to Holdsworth, but there you are.
