Mojotones recommended jackplate screws

Do these jack plate screws look right to you?

Those just don't look right to me. I contacted customer service, sent them these pictures and they confirmed that these are the right screws for the jack plates they sell. They're tiny and the head taper fits through the hole. If you ask me, I think these are a pretty bad match. I mean I can use them but the jack plates are obviously machined for a larger screw.

That's pretty lame.

It does seem like those countersunk holes are too big for those screws, but those screws seem to be the same size as every other jackplate screw I have used (hard to be sure with those photo angles). I have never ordered the MojoTone jackplate, I usually use (if required) the ones that can bought at GC (I think they are all-parts brand, come in a cardboard/plastic pack). The thing that would bother me most about having to install that would be that the screws aren't gold to match the plate, if they were gold, I probably would look past the large countersink as long as the plate was held in place firmly.

Yeah I got the chrome screws instead of the gold cause they were cheaper, but they are the exact same size. I care a lot more about having the right screw for the job than to have mismatched finishes. I think chrome on gold looks fine. Tiny screws don't look fine, they're not the right ones.

I guess the price is right though, it was fairly cheap. Glad I didn't pay 3 times more for the gold ones.

Either the countersinks are too big, or the screws are too small. Take your pick.
